This position is essential for supporting all First Line of Defense (FLOD) risk management activities conducted by the Business Risk Officer, while also addressing the data analytics needs of the ASIM division. The SBDA is tasked with identifying, evaluating, and monitoring various risk taxonomies related to the strategic initiatives undertaken by the Bank. This role requires close collaboration with front-line bankers and line of business personnel to effectively execute risk management strategies, as well as working alongside second-line risk management colleagues. In this capacity, the SBDA will leverage data analytics to bolster the bank's risk management strategy. The role involves applying advanced data analysis and statistical techniques to assess risk across multiple first-line business units, enhance predictive modeling, and refine decision-making processes. The SBDA will utilize data mining techniques to collect, process, and analyze large datasets pertinent to risk exposure, and develop predictive models to forecast risks and outcomes that could impact the bank's operations and financial stability. Collaboration is key in this role, as the SBDA will work with IT and data science teams to improve data collection procedures and the quality of analytics. Compliance with data governance and protection standards is crucial to maintain data integrity and security. The SBDA will prepare detailed reports and visualizations for senior management, illustrating insights derived from complex datasets, and will maintain comprehensive documentation of risk control processes and methodologies. Additionally, the SBDA will coordinate monthly 1LOD Operational Risk Reporting, monitor and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) within business units, and assist in developing standardized reporting.
