About the position

The Sr. Business Development Account Manager for the FBI at Credence Management Solutions is a pivotal role that requires leveraging existing relationships within the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) programs to build and drive new business opportunities. This position demands a process improvement mindset, enabling the candidate to convert information into actionable opportunities that will enhance and extend client business relationships and footprint. The successful candidate will utilize complex analytical skills to manage Professional Services, Consulting Projects, and Program Management effectively. In this role, the Account Manager will be responsible for positioning Credence as a trusted adviser and partner with decision-makers within the client agency's organization. The candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in federal marketing and business development, including agency account planning, pipeline creation, origination, qualification, development, and assembling pursuit teams to drive new sales. Collaboration with Credence teams and strategic partners is essential to identify and drive new opportunities in target accounts within the Federal marketplace. The Account Manager will also serve as a Credence Ambassador, articulating the company's vision, capabilities, and value-added support to clients. The position requires a deep understanding of Federal and Defense trends, particularly in Mission Critical DOD Environments, and the ability to drive positive change through innovative solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in collaborating with vendors and partners to close business, particularly within the FBI sector, and possess the ability to understand complex content while relating it to industry trends and client needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain TS Clearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business in similar organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Federal and Defense trends, particularly in Mission Critical DOD Environments.
  • Proven track record of 7+ years collaborating with vendors and partners to close business.
  • Highly experienced in FBI business development, preferably within the Huntsville, AL area.
  • Ability to understand complex content and relate it to industry trends and client needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high growth environment.
