About the position

The Senior Business Information Management Analyst at TD Bank plays a crucial role in providing technical leadership across various information management functions to support data and analytics initiatives. This position involves working independently as a senior lead, managing activities related to the analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions for projects of varying complexity. The analyst is expected to have expert-level knowledge in their domain, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to work with large datasets and big data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide business technical leadership across a range of information management functions.
• Manage and direct activities related to analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions.
• Lead projects of moderate to complex risk and resource requirements.
• Analyze, design, and develop data repositories, warehouses, and ETL processes.
• Support data modeling capabilities to structure business data for various uses.
• Develop data road maps and information management strategies.
• Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve issues and ensure requirements are met.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data issues and ensure resolution.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business administration, statistics, mathematics, or finance.
• Proficient knowledge of various data sources, tools, and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Root Cause and Impact Assessment.
• Familiarity with data mapping.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
