About the position

The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of various manufacturing software platforms, including ERP and CRM systems, to analyze and interpret complex data sets. The analyst will be responsible for generating comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights into business performance and trends. In this role, the Sr. BI Analyst will effectively mine data from diverse sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, to develop and maintain data pipelines that ensure efficient data extraction and integration. The analyst will cleanse, validate, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, applying statistical methods and data mining techniques to derive actionable insights. Additionally, the analyst will design and develop visually appealing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, SSRS, and Crystal Reports, customizing these reports to meet the specific needs of various stakeholders within the organization. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics will be a critical aspect of this role, as the analyst will track the performance of various business processes and identify areas for improvement. The Sr. BI Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, data engineers, and IT professionals, to develop models and algorithms that enhance data-driven decision-making. Effective communication of findings and insights to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards will be essential. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis will also be a key responsibility, as the analyst continuously seeks to improve reporting processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing data analysis, report writing, and business intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Deep knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
