The candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in version control systems, specifically GIT, to manage code effectively. Additionally, experience with cloud-based platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and tools like TIBCO WebFOCUS and Looker will be essential for reporting and visualization tasks. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. The analyst will be expected to collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and availability, as well as to support the implementation of new data solutions that align with AutoZone's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as TIBCO WebFOCUS and Looker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Utilize SAS and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Write Unix and Linux shell scripts to automate data processes and improve workflows.
  • Manage code using GIT for version control and collaboration.
  • Support the implementation of data solutions in cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of analytical experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.
  • Proficiency in SAS and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Unix and Linux shell scripting for process automation.
  • 2 years of experience with version control systems, specifically GIT.
  • Familiarity with Taleo, Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management, PeopleFluent, Jira, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with BI tools such as TIBCO WebFOCUS, Looker, and BigQuery.
