About the position

As a Senior Business Manager in Capital Risk Oversight (CapRO) at Capital One, you will leverage your strategic and analytical skills to oversee and challenge capital management decisions, including scenario design, stress testing, and capital allocations. This role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
• Manage and develop 1-2 analysts, focusing on coaching and mentoring to retain talent.
• Create and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
• Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic product development.
• Enhance credit performance by analyzing consumer credit trends and creating risk models.
• Manage and sequence delivery of business intent and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis.
• At least 1 year of experience in people management.
• At least 1 year of experience in project management.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis.
