About the position

The Sr. Business Manager at Denali Therapeutics plays a crucial role in supporting the leadership teams in achieving strategic priorities related to Discovery and Technical Operations. This position involves managing a variety of projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and facilitating communication across departments to deliver effective therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the CSO, CTO, and respective leadership teams for internal and external activities.
• Facilitate and manage a broad range of projects for Discovery and Tech Ops to ensure attainment of strategic priorities.
• Translate strategy into measurable deliverables in collaboration with leadership team members.
• Monitor and report progress of key initiatives to CSO and CTO, intervening as necessary to meet goals.
• Support the development and preparation of executive-level presentations.
• Identify and prioritize key issues early, expediting resolution through analysis and evaluation.
• Effectively prioritize multiple objectives and implement course corrections as needed.

Requirements

• BS in a scientific discipline with life sciences experience preferred.
• 5+ years in project management, preferably in Pharma or Biotech.
• Proven experience in Knowledge Management, Communication, and Strategy/Planning.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
