About the position

The Technical Program Manager role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is crucial for driving strategic initiatives within the Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team. This position focuses on the creation, implementation, and acceleration of go-to-market tooling that enhances AWS's success and supports field teams in achieving business outcomes. The role requires collaboration across various teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own matrixed execution of AFX products and solutions.
  • Coordinate roadmaps across SMGS business units.
  • Identify and resolve cross-organizational opportunities and risks.
  • Establish mechanisms to keep SMGS leaders informed on strategic initiatives from ideation to post-launch.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and resources effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in technical program, project management, sales or business operations.
  • 5+ years experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and analytics.
  • 2+ years experience leading large projects in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders or in a high-growth environment.
  • Highly proficient using project management and analytics software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, Smartsheet, QuickSight).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of work experience.
