About the position

The Business Operations Manager at AWS will play a crucial role in supporting the rapid growth of the AWS business by executing strategic initiatives for the AWS Specialist & Partner Organization. This position involves partnering with senior leaders to drive operational efficiency and scale initiatives, requiring a strategic and analytical mindset to navigate complex business challenges and deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables and insights.
• Build and manage end-to-end goal planning mechanisms, including defining goals, forecasting, target setting, and operationalizing performance monitoring.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders around best practices of business operations.
• Manage business planning and operational cycles for the ISV partner team and coordinate with leaders of other business areas.
• Collaborate with AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services to manage projects that grow the customer base.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, systems, and tools.
• Establish credibility and maintain working relationships with key stakeholder teams such as Legal, Finance, and Business Development.
• Influence peers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive desired business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience conducting sophisticated analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables.
• Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
• 6+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
• Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
• Experience with SQL.
