About the position

The Sr Business Operations Manager for AWS Specialist & Partner Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the rapid growth of the AWS business. This position involves collaborating with senior leaders to drive operational efficiency and scale strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables and insights.
  • Build and manage end-to-end goal planning mechanisms, including defining goals, forecasting, target setting, and monitoring performance.
  • Act as a business partner to senior leaders, providing strategic guidance on best practices in business operations.
  • Manage business planning and operational cycles for the ISV partner team and coordinate with leaders of other business areas.
  • Collaborate with AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services to manage projects aimed at growing the customer base.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, systems, and tools.
  • Establish credibility and maintain working relationships with key stakeholder teams such as Legal, Finance, and Business Development.
  • Influence peers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive desired business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience conducting sophisticated analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • 6+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
  • Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
