About the position

The Sr Business Operations Manager at AWS Professional Services is responsible for enhancing delivery health, analyzing historical results, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to develop and manage business processes, systems, and strategies that optimize operations in a rapidly growing environment. The manager will act as a trusted advisor, balancing strategic and operational activities to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the opportunity pipeline by coordinating monthly reviews to ensure execution in the sales cycle.
• Develop and implement mechanisms for continuous improvement, including process automation and elimination.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect business requirements and maintain methodologies, policies, and procedures.
• Lead P&L and cost analysis to drive improvement across the team.
• Provide strategic guidance to business leaders, implementing best practices in business operations.
• Deliver data-driven insights and manage dashboards, reports, and documents for future planning.
• Oversee the execution of the annual planning process, including bookings, revenue, headcount, and goal planning.
• Establish business rhythm and cadence, leading meetings through deliverables and actions.
• Author narratives and provide data insights for reviews.
• Coordinate with corporate teams to influence the roadmap for enhanced business intelligence and tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, revenue reporting, and forecasting
• Experience defining and implementing sales processes and policies
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate results into actionable insights
