About the position

The Sr. Business Planning Manager for ProServe Business Operations and Advisory at Amazon is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic planning within the ProServe team. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to align local planning strategies with global objectives, ensuring effective business reviews, and managing key operational initiatives from ideation to implementation. The position requires a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple functions to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate local planning strategy in alignment with ProServe's worldwide strategy.
  • Own and adapt the local planning process and framework, addressing local challenges and global priorities.
  • Develop data-driven analysis for planning processes and strategic initiatives.
  • Define metrics to measure business performance and compare actual data to forecasts.
  • Identify key analyses for change management supporting long-term vision and ProServe strategy.
  • Lead standard operations cadence such as goal setting and revenue reviews.
  • Manage the development of the annual operating plan.
  • Own the process for business reviews (WBR, MMR, MBR, QBR) and track initiatives as part of the business plan.
  • Write compelling narratives and create presentations for senior leadership.
  • Drive collaboration across functional organizations within the Business Unit.
  • Own end-to-end forecasting guidelines for the local Geo.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in Strategy, Planning, Operations, or FP&A within a Professional Services organization with over $100M in annual revenue.
  • 5+ years of experience communicating goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels.
  • Project management skills with the ability to set goals and lead programs.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to generate and communicate meaningful growth metrics.

  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate in a constantly changing environment with a strong bias for action.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity and scale systems, processes, and teams.
