About the position

The Sr. Financial Business Process Advisor will play a crucial role in developing, managing, testing, and documenting system, application, and data requirements for the Muscogee Nation Office of Treasury. This position involves analyzing business and financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of existing infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and financial data.
  • Provide direction in process analysis, configuration, and implementation of procedures within the finance functional areas.
  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Analyze trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
  • Lead the creation of proper business and technical documentation in support of new or existing processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Four to eight years of work experience in a related field.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
  • Proven technical writing skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and principles used in big data analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics.
