About the position

The Sr Business Systems Analyst - HR at Arthrex, Inc. is a pivotal role that collaborates closely with HR and IT teams to enhance and align internal processes. This position involves leading workshops, documenting decisions, and translating business requirements into system specifications, particularly focusing on HR systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of HR functions, with a goal of driving system and process transformation within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process workshops between HR departments across regions.
  • Initiate and guide discussions on improvement and alignment of internal processes.
  • Diagram and document decisions made during workshops.
  • Author business requirements and translate them into system requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and implementation partners on functional design changes.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business areas and processes to recommend solutions.
  • Use various techniques to gather business requirements, including interviews and workshops.
  • Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives.
  • Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to refine requirements.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into detailed functional requirements.
  • Prioritize requirements in collaboration with business and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to resolve competing priorities.
  • Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.
  • Create necessary documentation, including business cases and process flows.
  • Support user acceptance testing and user training activities.
  • Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted.
  • Document current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform project management duties for releases and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience required.
  • Human Resources generalist experience preferred.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Understanding of core Human Resources functions is required.
  • Previous implementation experience with an HR system is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors: Employee Central is a plus.
  • Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) is preferred.
  • Experience in applying PDCA, SIPOC, Process Flow, and Design Thinking methodologies is preferred.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Experience in deployment or optimization of an ERP system.
  • Experience in continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies.
