The Global SAP, IBP Lead will be a core member of the SCM IT Team, working closely with the SCM business organization to drive continuous improvement through business partnerships. This role involves developing timely and innovative sustainable 'end to end' solutions, collaborating with other SAP functional and development teams to design, develop, test, and implement appropriate configurations within SAP ECC PP, SAP APO, and SAP IBP to meet business requirements in the manufacturing area. The SAP SrBA will work with key business users to gather business requirements, design and develop solutions, create blueprints, functional specs, and perform unit/integration testing. They will be responsible for the successful global template technical solution implementation, ensuring full value realization across all Supply Chain planning functions at James Hardie. This includes developing technical designs, solutions, and configurations in SAP for global projects, leading design sessions among business, IS stakeholders/leaders, and SMEs, and driving integration while eliminating gaps. The role also involves partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimize existing processes and technology, supporting stakeholders in developing ROI and business cases for project reviews, and creating training and process documentation for new functionality and projects. In addition to enhancements and project support, the SAP SrBA will provide ongoing business support for applications in the Supply Chain planning area. This includes analyzing problem tickets through root cause analysis, updating configurations as needed, coordinating support escalations, and ensuring adherence to IS Helpdesk SLAs and metrics. The position requires familiarity with existing SAP designs and enhancements, as well as 3rd party applications, and involves interfacing with internal/external auditors during SOX audits. Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements from key users and design solutions accordingly.
  • Create blueprints and functional specifications for development teams.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Lead design sessions with business and IS stakeholders to drive integration and eliminate gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes and technology in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Support stakeholders in developing ROI and business cases for project reviews.
  • Create and design training and process documentation for new functionalities and projects.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects from definition through implementation.
  • Communicate issues, enhancement requests, and project status to business stakeholders and management.
  • Research and identify appropriate SAP solutions to optimize and increase adoption in Supply Chain planning functions.
  • Provide ongoing business support for applications in the Supply Chain planning area.
  • Analyze problem tickets and determine appropriate solutions through root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate support escalation and communication with business, service desk, and technical teams.
  • Research issues in SAP OSS and implement OSS notes as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IBP.
  • Experience in APO PPDS preferred.
  • Implementation experience in IBP modules such as S&OP, Demand Planning, Response and Supply Planning, Replenishment planning, and Inventory Optimization.
  • Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management including material flow, information flow, and financial flow.
  • Knowledge of data integration between ECC, APO, and IBP.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and architect sustainable solutions.
  • Knowledge or experience with technical development objects and their interaction with SAP.
  • Experience with SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and migrations.
  • Exposure to S/4 HANA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle implementation.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP IBP future releases and functionalities.
  • Familiarity with 3rd party applications related to Supply Chain management.
