About the position

The Sr Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, providing consulting services to internal business groups, and improving business processes. This position focuses on financial analysis and modeling, particularly in the context of regulatory compliance and reporting for U.S. banks.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business units
• Confer with clients regarding information processing or computation needs
• Provide consulting services on process improvement projects
• Analyze, define, and document business and data requirements

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or modeling for Asset Liability Management, Treasury Management, Credit Risk Management, or SCCL/Basel III Regulations
• Experience interpreting Fed instructions for regulatory reports and converting them to technical requirements
• Good understanding of Capital regulations for U.S Banks
• Intermediate to advanced level SQL skills for data analysis in Oracle and Teradata databases
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Oracle BI
• Extensive experience in the analysis, definition, and documentation of business and data requirements
• Experience with FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, Basel III, and corresponding regulatory submissions
• Detailed knowledge of reports and report layouts for regulatory submissions
