The Sr. SAP Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the DFA Shared Applications Team, working within a cross-functional team environment. This position is primarily focused on the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP business applications, with a specific emphasis on the Procure to Pay (P2P) process. The P2P process encompasses various functions including Planning, Purchase Order Processing, Guided Buying, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory Management, and related processes. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a deep understanding of these processes and how they integrate with SAP applications. In this role, the candidate will interact closely with key business users to configure and enhance SAP business applications to meet evolving business requirements. This includes providing support to project teams, contributing insights on system design, conducting integration testing, facilitating user training, and offering post-go-live support. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for day-to-day production support, which involves coordinating with team members and external consultants to ensure smooth operations. Adherence to approved DFA project management and governance standards is essential in all aspects of the role. The position requires a proactive approach to gathering business requirements and transforming them into actionable SAP business application processes. The candidate will need to coordinate or actively participate with Shared Applications team members or business users in the analysis, design, development, documentation, performance testing, and implementation of technical business solutions. Furthermore, the ability to define, gather, and load the master data necessary to support the applications delivered is critical.
