About the position

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting implementation projects within the Client IS&T department. This position focuses on optimizing business processes and systems by gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into actionable system solutions. The analyst will work collaboratively within a global team to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience through effective technology utilization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, priorities, and constraints.
• Translate requirements and business objectives into actionable system solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.
• Develop detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and functional specifications to support system enhancements and implementations.
• Analyze and document complex business processes, data flows, and system interactions, and recommend solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Communicate complex project strategies to stakeholders; produce high-quality visual and written presentations and reports; lead engaging presentations to senior audiences.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, and marketing to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical solutions and project objectives.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA analysts, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably from a global enterprise software company.
• Experience in leading business analysis initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements.
• Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements elicitation, and documentation techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML, user stories).
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology, and familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in supporting DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools, data analysis techniques, and SQL querying is a plus.
• Experience working in SaaS companies and Cloud-based environments.
