About the position

The position is responsible for aligning business systems with user needs, documenting requirements, and determining strategies for implementing systems to achieve business goals. It involves gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, supporting product enhancements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities.
  • Provide product expertise in regards to functional/technical needs and processes.
  • Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization.
  • Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations.
  • Support efforts for SIT and UAT testing for new products and product enhancements.
  • Provide production application support and resolve tickets for end users.
  • Provide specific contributions as directed by Product Leader.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering OR STEM
  • 4-6 years relevant experience within the information technology field
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently on most technical issues
  • 4+ years business systems analysis experience with proven experience on medium - large sized projects
  • 2+ years proven experience working with project teams to determine implementation strategy
  • 2+ years proven experience with developing testing strategy for large complex projects
  • Ability to communicate technical topics clearly and succinctly
  • Demonstrated ability to perform assigned work proficiently
  • Ability to effectively interact with external constituent groups and customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree, e.g. Masters of Information Technology
  • Experience in Salesforce Applications, Service Cloud, Field Service, in IOS and Mobile Application support
  • 2-3 years' experience in the Utilities Industry
  • Experience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiences
  • Experience in product management
  • Strong leadership and influence skills.
