About the position

The Sr Business Systems Analyst role involves gathering requirements from various business units and translating them into actionable insights for programmers and developers. This position plays a crucial role in preparing cost-benefit analyses and return-on-investment assessments to guide system implementation decisions. The analyst will also coordinate and enhance the compatibility of computer systems within the organization to facilitate information sharing and improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business units and translate them to programmers and developers.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Interview or survey workers, observe job performance, or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.
• Coordinate and link the computer systems within the organization to increase compatibility and facilitate information sharing.
• Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
• Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in business systems analysis.
• Proficiency in REST APIs.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Service Now.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Generative AI.
• Familiarity with AWS.
