In this role, you will perform cartographic finishing, feature extraction, and data content management to meet customer data standards and adhere to project-specific guidance. You will manage a geospatial database and conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) functions to correct data call errors. Your responsibilities will include compiling, segregating, evaluating, researching, interpreting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence information to support operations. You will also prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefings, utilizing visual aids and drafting, editing, and proofreading documents for publication. To succeed in this position, you must maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and obtain/maintain Technical Expert (TE) accreditation and SOFA status. The role requires five to ten years of demonstrated relevant experience, with a preference for candidates holding a degree (BS) in GIS, Geography, or a related field. Experience in cartographic finishing, feature extraction, and data content management is essential, along with knowledge of CIB1, TLMs, MGCP products, MDG, DTED, SRTM, and boundary recovery processes. You should be proficient in ArcGIS, Socet-Set, RemoteView, or comparable ELT software, and possess superior knowledge of geospatial database content management. Additionally, experience with FME, ESRI extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools, or similar software extensions is required. Familiarity with GAIT, ArcGIS Data Reviewer, or comparable geospatial data inspection software is also beneficial. A strong understanding of intelligence organizations and systems, collection and reporting systems, and techniques for identifying, collating, evaluating, and analyzing information is crucial. You should have a superior knowledge of geographical and cultural aspects of foreign countries and a proven ability to develop production schedules and deliver customer requirements on time or ahead of schedule. The ability to work independently with minimal oversight is also necessary, along with experience in combining digital cartography, computer technology, GIS, cartographic and geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and digital data formats. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
