About the position

The Senior Release Manager at Adobe will lead the Change and Release Management team, focusing on empowering engineering teams to deploy services safely and efficiently. This role involves designing and implementing industry-leading processes for a complex production environment, ensuring that these processes scale across all of Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on an effective Change and Release Management strategy, aligned to Adobe objectives
• Drive adoption of effective Adobe-wide frameworks through partnership and influence
• Ensure framework evolution addresses product and development lifecycles
• Work cross-functionally with product/program management to ensure roadmaps are aligned and socialized
• Represent Change and Release Management in varying meetings with executives and partners to ensure regular communication, updates, and follow-ups
• Understand, monitor, and report on the overall health of Change and Release Management across Adobe and be responsible for the resolution of cross-functional issues.

Requirements

• Tried experience with ITSM frameworks, specifically Change and Release Management, but with Incident and Problem as well
• Previous experience handling multiple partners and demonstrated influence without authority
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms to communicate with both technical and non-technical partners
• Demonstrated technical competence with experience working with developers and designers
• Track record of defining and implementing strategies that build value

Nice-to-haves

• Proven understanding of different SDLC methodologies including agile, iterative, big bang, or waterfall
• Solid understanding of Release Management deployment strategies including canaries, blue-green, and A/B testing
