About the position

As a Senior Change Manager at The Standard, you will play a pivotal role in establishing partnerships with business leaders across the enterprise. Your primary responsibility will be to refine and apply The Standard's customized people-centered change management methodology. This role is crucial for demonstrating the value that change management capabilities can bring to an organization that is undergoing significant changes in processes, technology, organizational structures, and products, all aimed at delivering enhanced customer value. You will be part of a high-performance culture that prioritizes collaboration, accountability, creativity, and agility, ensuring that the needs of the organization and its customers are met effectively. In this position, you will leverage The Standard's structured methodology to lead the design and execution of change strategies that are tailored to the unique needs of each change initiative. You will collaborate closely with key leaders and partners across the enterprise to ensure successful sponsorship of changes. Your role will also involve facilitating the creation and completion of practical change management deliverables, modeling effective change management behaviors, and engaging in peer learning and coaching with other resources in the change management office. As a strategic thought partner for leaders, you will provide guidance during the strategizing process and work to expand and fortify the change management methodology by being a credible resource for best practices in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Define and grow the discipline of change management across the company.
  • Leverage The Standard's structured methodology to lead consistent change strategy design and execution.
  • Collaborate with key leaders and partners across the enterprise to ensure successful change sponsorship.
  • Facilitate the completion and creation of practical change management deliverables.
  • Model change management behavior and engage in peer learning and coaching with other change resources.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner for leaders and provide guidance when strategizing.
  • Expand and fortify the change management methodology by being a credible resource for best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 7-10 years of experience delivering end-to-end change management leveraging known/established methodologies.
  • CCMP, Kotter, 7-S, Prosci or ADKAR certification required.
  • Consulting capabilities preferred.
  • Agile and Lean experience preferred.
  • Actuary experience preferred.
  • Industry experience preferred.
