About the position

The Sr. Channel Enablement Manager at Verkada is responsible for leading the development and execution of learning initiatives that enhance the business impact of channel partners. This role involves designing scalable program frameworks, collaborating with various teams to create instructional content, and managing the performance of channel enablement programs. The position requires strategic planning and program management to ensure effective training and resource allocation for new product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development, execution, and communication of ongoing learning initiatives across channel partners.
  • Design and execute program and process frameworks that exhibit repeatability and scalability within the business.
  • Establish, oversee, and expand learning and competency development programs for channel partners and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designer and Enablement leads to craft instructional content and manage the partner portal.
  • Forge partnerships with sales leadership and channel business partners to prioritize enhancements for ongoing programs.
  • Report on the performance of channel enablement programs and communicate business impact through quarterly reviews.
  • Balance program management responsibilities with strategic planning.
  • Scope Tier 1 requests and develop project plans for implementation.
  • Manage all elements of a program including training, asset creation, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Facilitate live and/or virtual training and information sessions as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Channel Operations, or Project Management with channel partners as stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a highly visible, cross-departmental role engaging with leadership.
  • Highly organized and efficient in managing multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to see and plan for the larger strategic vision while executing tactical pieces.
  • Capable of navigating stressful and fast-changing situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for setting priorities and agendas.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with remote teams.
  • Program/Project Management experience and/or certifications preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a cloud-based technology environment.
  • Familiarity with physical security products and services.
