About the position

The Sr. Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for administering and supporting a global data communications network. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing network systems while ensuring all designs are documented and supportable. The engineer will handle engineering, configuration, deployment, and maintenance across various technologies, including Azure, Campus, Plant LAN, Wireless, WAN/SD-WAN, and Datacenter LAN, while troubleshooting complex network issues and developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the global data communications network.
• Design, develop, and optimize network systems.
• Document and ensure all designs are supportable.
• Handle engineering, configuration, deployment, and maintenance across various technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Communicate maintenance and downtime effectively.
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Analyze network needs and contribute to design and installation.
• Lead project implementations and ensure security compliance.
• Monitor network performance.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Center LAN + WAN planning, configuration, support, and implementation.
• 4+ years of experience with Cisco ACI.
• Experience with Cisco Out-of-Band Management.
