About the position

The Sr. Civil Engineer/Project Manager will lead and manage multiple engineering projects focused on Water Resources Engineering across the Southeast. This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with design standards, and maintaining effective communication with clients. The position offers flexibility in responsibilities based on experience and can be performed remotely within Florida, with minimal travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met within the budget and schedule.
• Develop and utilize Civil 3D models for site development projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Create detailed engineering designs and plans, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide engineering support during the construction phase, including site visits, inspections, and resolving technical issues.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, understand their needs, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct site visits, field assessments, and meetings as required, ensuring project requirements are met on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed P.E. or E.I.T (FL highly preferred)
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience, specifically in Water Resources Engineering
• Experience with ICPR or Drainage Calculations
