The Senior Client Services Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific plays a crucial role in leading complex client projects within the Clinical Trials Division. This position focuses on maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the clinical trial process. The role requires advanced project management skills, creative problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver results effectively.
Responsibilities
- Independently leads a portfolio of complex client projects from end-to-end within the client services business.
- Guides clients through the project process, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Acts as an informal leader, improving processes and mentoring new hires and less senior project managers.
- Develops and maintains client relationships, addressing concerns and acting as a single point of escalation.
- Coordinates internal and external business activities to achieve project goals.
- Measures project performance and progress, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective actions.
- Demonstrates advanced technical capabilities and expertise in site processes and industry requirements.
- Supports strategic development of the project management function, including potential for new business and global initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific subject area or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing project management within the pharmaceutical and/or life sciences industry preferred; experience with clinical trials preferred but not required.
- 3+ years experience acceptable if holding an advanced degree.
