About the position

The Senior Cloud Consultant at Cloud for Good focuses on change management and user adoption related to technology initiatives. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing strategies that enhance user adoption and proficiency while minimizing resistance to new technologies. The consultant will also contribute to practice development activities, including creating new offerings and marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop change management strategies and detailed plans for change initiatives for customer engagements
  • Coach customers and project teams on change management principles and their practical application in a project context
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and tactics using quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Work closely with customer project owners to ensure expected benefits and value are realized
  • Conduct ongoing risk/impact assessments and provide support throughout the project
  • Coordinate change management implementation activities, ensuring execution aligns with overall plans
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment between change management and technical implementation plans
  • Develop and execute stakeholder, resistance management, communication, and training plans
  • Develop and deliver communications assets aligned to the change management and communications plans
  • Review proposed change management communications for alignment with plan and corporate standards
  • Develop and deliver training assets related to the change management and training plans
  • Deliver train the trainer and/or end user training aligned to the change management and training plans
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the ACM practice by participating in various activities.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools driven by technology implementations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent emotional intelligence and situational awareness
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior leadership/executives
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence internal teams and customer stakeholders
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Excellent active listening skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to adapt as project conditions warrant
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and translate benefits into training and communications assets
  • Good to excellent user-level understanding of Salesforce and Microsoft Technologies, and familiarity with Lucid, JIRA, and Smartsheet
  • Collaborate with project leadership to support overall project and team member health and satisfaction

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Experience with Core Industries - Higher Ed, Non Profit, or Public Sector
  • Master's degree in Organizational Leadership, Change Management, or related fields
