About the position

The Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and automating cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role requires a strong understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) tools and experience with data streaming technologies. The engineer will work in an agile environment, focusing on platform automation and continuous integration and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Utilize ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git for continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Automate platform processes using tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to enhance DevOps practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
• Administrative knowledge of ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git.
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Hands-on experience in platform automation with tools like Docker and Terraform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing and operating DevOps platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Datadog.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Go, and scripting languages like Unix scripting or Perl.
