About the position

The Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and automating cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role requires strong technical skills in cloud technologies and experience with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools. The engineer will work in an agile environment, collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Utilize ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git for application lifecycle management.
• Implement data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Automate platform deployment using tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Train and coach project group members to enhance knowledge management.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
• Administrative knowledge of ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, and Sonar.
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Apache Spark, or Flink.
• Hands-on experience in platform automation using Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Formation, and Terraform.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing and operating DevOps platforms such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and GitHub.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or Go, or with Unix scripting or Perl.
