About the position

The Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer role focuses on leveraging cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to enhance platform automation and streamline development processes. The position requires strong expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with experience in application lifecycle management (ALM) tools. The ideal candidate will work in an agile environment, collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AWS cloud services to enhance platform automation.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Manage and operate ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git.
• Implement data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Train and coach project group members for effective knowledge management.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
• Administrative knowledge of ALM tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, and Sonar.
• Hands-on experience in platform automation using tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Apache Spark, or Flink.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience managing DevOps platforms such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and GitHub.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Go, or with Unix scripting or Perl.
