About the position

The Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and automating cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role requires strong technical skills in cloud technologies and experience with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools. The engineer will work in an agile environment, focusing on platform automation and data streaming technologies to enhance organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Utilize ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git for application lifecycle management.
• Implement data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Automate platform processes using tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to continuously improve processes and technologies.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
• Administrative knowledge of ALM tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git.
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Hands-on experience with platform automation tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Formation, and Terraform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing and operating DevOps platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Datadog.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Go, and scripting languages like Unix scripting or Perl.
