About the position

The Senior Cloud Engineer at Sabre will play a crucial role in the evolution and support of cloud-based environments and infrastructure. This position involves designing and building cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform services, optimizing existing functionalities, and collaborating with development teams to enhance cloud infrastructure. The role is integral to the company's journey towards cloud adoption, providing opportunities to work on exciting projects and solve engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and lead the development of cloud native applications using Google Cloud Platform services.
• Develop technology architecture for solutions.
• Write and manage scripts and utilities to enhance/automate day-to-day administration activities.
• Create and maintain documentation of enterprise infrastructure topology and system configurations.
• Work closely with App Dev teams and Project managers to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Design and lead application development while supporting DevOps processes.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
• Proficiency with orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
