About the position

The Sr. Cloud Software Developer (DevOps) at Accenture Federal Services is responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, focusing on continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), as well as cloud technologies and security. This role aims to enhance enterprise cloud adoption and ensure the safety of systems against security threats through the implementation of DevSecOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Use DevSecOps to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption while enabling rapid and stable delivery of capabilities using continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Identify, prototype, engineer, and deploy emerging software engineering methodologies and tools.
  • Automate and enhance DevSecOps pipelines and other tasks.
  • Define and promote enterprise software engineering and DevSecOps standards, practices, and behaviors.
  • Operate and support a suite of enterprise DevSecOps services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years software development experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, including golang, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML.
  • Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as terraform.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with container technologies/software such as Kubernetes.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies.
  • Experience with data science cloud services and application to DoD mission use cases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study or 6 years of experience working with IT systems may substitute academic degree.
  • Active TS w/ SCI eligibility clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and an AWS certification.
  • Cloud Computing Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
