About the position

The Senior Commercial Account Executive is responsible for managing complex client insurance programs, serving as the main point of contact for clients and vendors, and ensuring superior service delivery. This role involves documentation management, client relationship maintenance, and technical expertise in insurance products. The position requires strong consultative skills, the ability to analyze client needs, and effective delegation to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Insurance Program using the agency management system.
  • Act as the main point of contact with the Producer and clients.
  • Initiate correspondence with the marketplace and vendors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and manage follow-through on decisions.
  • Prepare documents for renewal terms, including Insurance Proposals and Certificates of Insurance.
  • Function as a team member of the Client Services team to ensure superior service.
  • Delegate and manage tasks given to the Account Manager and outsourcing teams.
  • Negotiate with carriers on cost and program design.
  • Coordinate, present, and attend client meetings, including mid-year and renewal meetings.
  • Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations.

Requirements

  • Licensed Texas P&C Agent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of Account Executive experience required
  • CIC & CRM, or CPCU preferred
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies
  • Ability to learn and analyze commercial lines of insurance
  • Demonstrated ability to service clients effectively
  • Experience in client-facing roles
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with employees at all levels
  • Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary
  • Ability to travel to meet client service needs when necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with premium analysis software
  • Knowledge of policy forms and endorsements
  • Ability to explain detailed coverage provisions to clients.
