About the position

The Sr Commercial Credit Analyst will support lenders in underwriting credit requests for commercial clients, performing detailed financial analyses, preparing credit approval requests, and ensuring compliance with credit policies. This role involves evaluating financial data, making loan recommendations, and conducting annual credit reviews.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data on prospective and active borrowing accounts and prepares written reports evaluating their financial prospects.
• Makes recommendations to Loan Officers on loan approvals or denials and prepares documentation for these recommendations.
• Identifies and interprets trends in financial data and key financial ratios.
• Documents all financial analyses thoroughly using spreadsheets and written credit offering memorandums.
• Suggests a loan grade after conducting a thorough credit analysis and documentation review.
• Coordinates work tasks within the department to ensure efficient information flow.
• Provides assigned reports and performs annual reviews of loan relationships.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years experience in a bank as a Credit Analyst.
