The Sr. Commercial Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in our agency located in Bedford, IN. This position is designed for a motivated and ambitious individual who is well organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and work collaboratively within a team environment. As this is an in-office position, the candidate will be expected to engage directly with colleagues and clients to foster strong relationships and drive business success. The primary responsibility of the Sr. Commercial Marketing Coordinator is to partner with Commercial Lines (CL) Producers to market and create presentations for new Commercial accounts that generate over $1,500 in agency revenue. This role will also involve being the primary relationship manager with our insurance carriers, facilitating visits and correspondence to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Additionally, the coordinator will assist the CL Service team as a backup or fill-in when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset. In this position, the coordinator will manage one direct report who will assist with new business accounts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial marketing, particularly in the insurance sector, and will be equipped with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as time management and project management capabilities. A general knowledge of marketing concepts and strategies will also be beneficial in executing the responsibilities of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CL Producers to market and create presentations for new Commercial accounts over $1,500 in agency revenue.
  • Be the primary relationship manager with our insurance carriers for visits and correspondence.
  • Assist the CL Service team as a backup or fill-in.
  • Manage 1 direct report assisting on the new business accounts.

Requirements

  • P&C licensed Commercial experience; preference for large commercial experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • General knowledge of marketing concepts and strategies.
