About the position

The Sr. Commercial Product Manager for NGS Solutions at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive product revenue and margin growth. This role involves managing the entire product life cycle, serving as a commercial subject matter expert, and collaborating with various teams to enhance product positioning and marketing strategies. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while contributing to a global team focused on innovative solutions in genomics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual strategic plan to achieve product revenue and margin growth objectives.
  • Serve as a commercial subject matter expert and product champion, analyzing and responding to customer feedback and market trends.
  • Manage all aspects of the product life cycle, including new product launches and obsolescence execution.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to create effective positioning strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations on supply issues and communicate with commercial teams and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience in biological sciences or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in product management or commercial marketing in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in high-touchpoint customer-facing roles.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.

Nice-to-haves

  • PhD in biological sciences or a related field.
  • Experience in assay commercialization in genomics or next-generation sequencing.
  • Understanding of competitors, technologies, trends, and challenges in the NGS and oncology research market.
  • 5+ years in the biotechnology or genomics industry.
