This is a professional Corrections position that requires the following skills: good communication, conflict management and problem-solving, time management, initiative and accountability, professionalism, integrity and good judgment. The Senior Community Corrections Officer assists the Supervisor or designee with special projects, and coordinating or facilitating training activities for other staff. May also perform administrative support functions such as quality assurance reviews, policy development and review, compliance audits, and training. Work is performed with independence under the general supervision of the assigned Supervisor and may function as a point of contact in the absence of the supervisor. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and results achieved.
