About the position

The Senior Community Manager at Guardian is responsible for overseeing the management of an affordable multifamily property, ensuring it meets ownership goals and adheres to all relevant laws and policies. This role involves supervising property staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the property is well-maintained and financially stable. The ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise property staff and vendors to provide outstanding customer service to residents.
  • Maintain excellent curb appeal and ensure proactive property maintenance.
  • Safeguard the financial health and stability of the property.
  • Ensure compliance with all government and property program requirements.
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports on time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing an affordable multifamily property.
  • At least one year of experience developing and adhering to an annual budget.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of property budgets and financial accounting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management software.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws.
