About the position

The Sr Compensation Analyst, Executive at Software, Inc. is responsible for designing and managing executive compensation programs and processes. This role involves benchmarking best practices, presenting analysis and findings, and developing recommendations for leadership. The analyst will prepare materials for compensation committee meetings and support the preparation of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis section of the Annual Proxy Statement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external consultants is essential to deliver key projects and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of executive compensation programs in line with business needs, culture, and values.
  • Recommend and enhance current programs, policies, and processes for both short-term and longer-term business needs and goals.
  • Maintain awareness of the latest trends, regulations, and competitive intelligence regarding executive compensation.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the equity strategy including burn rate, overhang analysis, and other dilution analysis.
  • Oversee analysis related to cost and trends and provide analytical data management support for measurement and tracking of key HR-related metrics.
  • Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee and broader Board of Directors meetings in partnership with Finance, Legal, and external consultants.
  • Assist in preparing compensation-related proxy tables and the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) for inclusion in the annual proxy statement.
  • Work independently and with other compensation team members to effectively manage projects from inception through execution.
  • Assist with Short-Term Incentive (STI) and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) plan design.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in executive compensation and equity administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or other relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of Workday HRIS preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to analyze, manipulate, make observations about, and present data.
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate both written & verbally with strong client focus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize, set priorities, be self-motivated, and learn independently.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects within established deadlines in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to successfully work in a team environment.
