The American Medical Association (AMA) is seeking a Sr Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resource team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and communicating compensation programs, policies, and processes. You will independently create job descriptions and conduct market analysis to evaluate roles and compensation programs. Collaboration is key, as you will act as an internal consultant to HR Business Partners and Managers on compensation-related issues. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of compensation programs, policies, and processes that align with market best practices. The position involves a variety of responsibilities, including compensation administration, internal collaboration, and process improvement. You will write and edit job descriptions, market price roles, build salary compensation recommendations, and manage the annual merit and incentive process. Your analytical skills will be crucial in completing data analysis based on the current compensation structure and maintaining tools to support compensation analysis and job descriptions. You will also collaborate with HR Business Partners and Business Unit leaders to assess market conditions and create competitive job offers.
