The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical and administrative support for compensation policies and programs within the organization. This position is responsible for preparing executive candidate compensation recommendations, which include both base and variable compensation programs. The analyst contributes significantly to the administration of compensation programs by preparing survey submissions, maintaining essential data and tables, updating reports, and conducting thorough data analysis. A key aspect of this role involves auditing job descriptions, evaluating positions, and creating appropriate survey data matches along with pay grade determinations. Furthermore, the analyst analyzes the competitive pay posture of the organization and proposes solutions that support both internal equity and external competitiveness. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Senior Compensation Analyst is tasked with providing executive compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and off-cycle adjustments. The role also involves assisting with annual compensation processes such as Pay Planning, which encompasses merit increases, bonuses, and long-term incentives, utilizing dynamic hands-on planning software. The analyst is expected to market price and analyze positions and incumbents concerning their respective pay grades, complete market pricing survey submissions, and perform competitive market reviews to ensure that positions and incumbents remain market competitive. The position also includes responsibilities related to incentive design, audits, and administration, as well as auditing and maintaining employee data, job tables, salary structures, and task logs. Additionally, the analyst may be involved in special projects as directed by leadership.
