About the position

As a Senior Compensation Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, you will play a crucial role in the UHG Enterprise Compensation and International Total Rewards team. This team is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of tools, processes, and consulting services related to enterprise-wide and business-specific compensation programs. Your contributions will directly support the objectives of attracting, retaining, and motivating key talent through competitive and responsive compensation programs that align with both external market influences and internal organizational goals. You will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., allowing you to tackle challenging projects while contributing to the transformation of health care for millions. In this role, you will provide analysis and support on moderately complex corporate and business segment compensation processes, projects, and initiatives. You may independently lead projects that are moderately complex to complex in nature, assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs and products. You will represent the business segments in corporate design efforts, enabling business compensation strategies through effective tools, capabilities, and communications within the corporate compensation philosophy framework. Additionally, you will develop complex queries, reports, and analyses to meet customer requests and partner with various stakeholders to work on cross-functional initiatives, change management, and implementation efforts. Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and support on moderately complex corporate and business segment compensation core processes, projects and initiatives
  • Independently lead moderately complex to complex compensation and business specific projects
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs and products
  • Represent the business segments in corporate design efforts
  • Enable business compensation strategies through tools, capabilities and communications within the corporate compensation philosophy framework
  • Develop complex queries, reports and analysis to meet customer requests
  • Partner with various stakeholders to work on cross-functional initiatives, change management and implementation efforts

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience working in Compensation or Human Capital
  • Data analysis experience, ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Proven ability to work effectively with teams across the organization

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certifications, such as CCP
  • Experience working in a matrix environment
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or comparable HRIS system
  • Technical expertise in salary survey participation, market data analysis, leading moderately complex projects, job evaluation, salary range analysis, and HRIS reporting
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated solid history of quickly building relationships and gaining credibility
