About the position

The Sr. Compensation Analyst at Panasonic Avionics Corporation plays a crucial role in the Global Total Rewards Center of Excellence, focusing on the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs. This position involves detailed analysis and consultation, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures while maintaining compliance. The analyst will collaborate with HR business partners and managers, participate in compensation surveys, and support fiscal year-end activities, all while fostering effective working relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and participate in domestic and international compensation surveys to analyze competitive salary information.
  • Ensure global pay structures are competitive, equitable, and cost-effective.
  • Prepare special studies and recommendations on merit budgets, bonus plans, and other compensation-related programs.
  • Review requests for new or revised job evaluations and recommend appropriate job characteristics.
  • Audit jobs for content and prepare/review job descriptions reflecting responsibilities and requirements.
  • Partner with HR business partners and HRIS team to manage job codes and descriptions.
  • Support fiscal year-end merit and bonus cycle, including training and communications to HR and managers.
  • Conduct annual salary structure review and manage fiscal year-end processes.
  • Partner with Legal to conduct Pay Equity analyses and ensure compliance with global Pay Equity/Transparency reporting.
  • Prepare routine and special reports for internal clients and analyze data for recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively more challenging Compensation Analyst experience.
  • GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) Designation preferred.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) Designation preferred.
  • Experience with Sales Incentive Plans preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in analyzing data and making sound recommendations based on facts and logic.
  • High level knowledge of Compensation practices, principles, and relevant regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of FLSA and experience in classifying employees under the Act.
  • Advanced skill level in Excel, including building embedded formulas and creating pivot tables.
  • High level of detail orientation and ability to build relationships with HR business partners and managers.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of MarketPay or PayFactors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Compensation & Performance Modules of HRIS, WORKDAY preferred.
