About the position

The Sr Compensation Analyst at Promethean is responsible for administering compensation programs across the organization, supporting employee experience, and aiding in strategic initiatives. This role involves managing compensation structures, leading job evaluations, and ensuring compliance with market trends and legal standards. The analyst will collaborate with HR and business leaders to align compensation strategies with organizational goals and provide education on compensation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the organization's compensation structures including job classification, job descriptions, leveling, pay grades, job titles, pricing, variable compensation plans, documentation and communications.
  • Lead the job evaluation process to determine the relative value of each position across the organization to maintain alignment with the overall structure.
  • Support projects related to the implementation of company-wide compensation programs and systems across the business, including the Annual and Mid-Year salary review and bonus payouts.
  • Partner to implement innovative and competitive sales plans that align with business strategies to increase revenue and market share across SaaS and Hardware products.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and developments in order to provide proactive guidance to ensure compensation programs are competitive and compliant globally.
  • Monitor performance and market data to analyze the effectiveness of compensation plans and make recommendations for plan changes to leadership to drive desired outcomes.
  • Support the business and provide education to HRBPs, leaders, and team members on all matters of compensation.
  • Manage the data entry and submission of salary surveys to 3rd party vendors.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners.
  • Ensure approved compensation changes are processed through payroll and subsequent systems timely and accurately.
  • Oversee compliance with data protection regulations and the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of HR data.
  • Partner with HRIS analyst to continue optimizing the HRIS platform to align/support Job and Compensation Architecture.
  • Assist with project work within the Total Rewards team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and extreme discretion frequently working with highly sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines, manage priorities and workflow effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience to work in and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge productive relationships with leaders, employees, departmental and cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Be able to understand and translate needs into deliverables.
  • Positive consistent attitude, flexible and creative, comfortable with ambiguity, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Knowledge of ADP (Workforce Now) and Willis Towers Watson Global Grading Tool preferred.
