About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst at Westinghouse Electric Company plays a crucial role in supporting and coordinating the planning, implementation, and administration of the company's global compensation programs. This position involves collaboration with various departments to enhance compensation strategies and facilitate data-informed decision-making, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of compensation data across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of compensation data, including market trends and annual salary surveys.
  • Partner in the design and administration of annual merit planning and incentive payment activities.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job documentation related to job structure and classification.
  • Provide analysis and consultation for internal and external job offers and employee job movements.
  • Collaborate with HRIS to support global data reporting and maintain compensation data integrity.
  • Conduct ad-hoc compensation analyses and audits, interpreting results and making recommendations to management.
  • Administer compensation policies and programs that support recognition, retention, and reward efforts company-wide.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Compensation and HR.
  • CCP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to apply standard compensation concepts and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly to shifting demands and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Access database.
