About the position

The Sr. Compensation Analyst at Atlantic Health System is responsible for analyzing and managing compensation programs to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational goals. This role involves conducting compensation evaluations, supporting compensation administration, and providing strategic recommendations to drive equitable and competitive pay practices. The analyst will engage in market research, salary benchmarking, and collaborate with various departments to support compensation-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation analyses to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Analyze and review salary data to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain compensation structures, including salary ranges, pay grades, and incentive programs.
  • Prepare and present detailed compensation reports, metrics, and dashboards to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with compensation trends, regulations, and best practices through regular market research and salary benchmarking.
  • Address employee inquiries related to compensation, providing clear and accurate information and support.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other departments to support compensation-related initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Strong background in compensation analysis and market trends.
  • Proficiency in compensation software and tools, advanced Excel skills, and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of compensation principles, labor market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • CCP or GRP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud is preferred.
