About the position

The Sr. Compensation Analyst at Panasonic Avionics Corporation plays a crucial role in the Global Total Rewards Center of Excellence, focusing on the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs. This position requires a blend of analytical skills and compliance knowledge to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures while fostering effective relationships across the organization. The analyst will also participate in compensation surveys, job analysis, fiscal year-end activities, and various reporting tasks, contributing to the overall compensation strategy of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and participates in domestic and international compensation surveys to analyze competitive salary information.
  • Ensures global pay structures are competitive, equitable, and cost-effective.
  • Prepares special studies and recommendations on merit budgets, bonus plans, and other compensation-related programs.
  • Reviews requests for job evaluations and recommends appropriate job characteristics.
  • Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting responsibilities and requirements.
  • Partners with HR business partners and HRIS team to manage job codes and descriptions.
  • Supports fiscal year-end merit and bonus cycle, including training and communications to HR and managers.
  • Conducts annual salary structure review and prepares routine and special reports for internal clients.
  • Analyzes data for recommendations on salary structure, FLSA exemptions, and organizational structures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively more challenging Compensation Analyst experience.
  • GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) Designation preferred.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) Designation preferred.
  • Experience with Sales Incentive Plans preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in analyzing data and making sound recommendations based on facts and logic.
  • High level knowledge of Compensation practices, principles, and relevant regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of FLSA and experience in classifying employees under the Act.
  • Advanced skill level in Excel, including building embedded formulas and creating pivot tables.
  • High level of detail orientation and ability to build relationships with HR business partners.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of MarketPay or PayFactors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Compensation & Performance Modules of HRIS, WORKDAY preferred.
