About the position

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for the global implementation and maintenance of the company's compensation philosophy and programs. This role involves conducting compensation-related research, providing analytical support for compensation programs, and acting as a subject matter expert to drive continuous improvement in compensation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support overall annual compensation programs in collaboration with HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Administer and monitor global compensation programs to ensure alignment with compensation philosophy.
  • Provide analytical support for the development of global merit and promotion budgets.
  • Develop compensation metrics to assist HR Business Partners and Senior Leaders in decision-making.
  • Conduct global job evaluations and market analysis to determine competitiveness and appropriateness of job classification.
  • Review salary actions for compliance with established guidelines and respond to inquiries from HR staff and managers.
  • Audit compensation data for compliance with laws and accuracy of internal systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including training and sharing best practices.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of global incentive plans.
  • Create and maintain plan documents and prepare employee communications.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and HRIS/Payroll teams to maintain accurate incentive information.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal policies regarding incentive plan administration.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of global education on compensation policies and programs.
  • Ensure HCM system data structures support effective compensation administration.
  • Document and enhance programs, procedures, policies, and controls.
  • Work on special projects as requested and collaborate with external compensation vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources compensation, preferably in global compensation.
  • Experience with CompAnalyst or other market pricing systems.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional designation is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze and interpret data systematically.
  • Sound knowledge of laws and regulations related to compensation, such as DOL, FLSA, EEO.
  • Proven project management experience across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
